Recently,we noticed sea water deslination in new way:Thermal deslination.However,most project still use RO membrane desalination.What is the difference between thermal desalination and membrane desalination?

Thermal desalination
(1) The temperature of the produced water is high, and it needs to be cooled by sea water
(2) The utilization rate of seawater is low (12 percent 20 percent )

Dessalinização de membrana

4) Deboronation needs to be considered when producing water for drinking water
5) High water quality requirements and complex pretreatment
6) No need of steam, easy to start and stop

Em suma, o método térmico tem uma grande quantidade de entrada de água, alta temperatura da água produzida e requer água do mar para resfriamento, a qualidade da água do produto é boa e o pré-tratamento é simples.
